Emergency Response and Pollution Prevention

Emergency Response Program:

First response to an overturned truck carrying seven 440 pound totes of an electrolyte emulsion.

Transportation of totes to an awaiting tractor / trailor rig

Installation of ground water monitoring and extraction wells.

  • 21,000 gallon tank holding recovered emulsion and ground water mixture


Southwest Ohio Local Government Pollution Prevention Collaborative

  • The Southwest Ohio Local Government Pollution Prevention Collaborative is a networking group for the discussion of pollution prevention topics that are relevant to local government operations.

Review of Superfund Site Activities

  • Evaluate Analytical and Conceptual Data
  • Review and Provide Comments on Remedial Investigation and Focussed Feasibility Studies (RI/FS) and Record of Decisions (ROD)

Pesticide and Fertilizer Risk Management
